     I saw this facebook picture and i thought it was funny, granted most of you will have to look up what it means (don't worry i did too but i had a good idea of what it is before hand, oh and to save you the trouble dictionary.com doesn't have it and neither does urban dictionary, use wikipedia)  



    I just found it really funny because in the Muslim world there is always comments like "oh no that's against my religion" "no women can't drive because that's against our religion" "women must wear veils b/c that's part of our religion"  but with all the little things that's against the muslim religion the bigger ones like eating pork and drinking alcohol never seem to get as much attention you know?  While yes, a lot of muslims won't eat pork, there are plenty of adult muslims that spend half their time preaching about how they are good muslims and make sure their wives wear veils and the other half in bars getting drunk.  Oh well, if this post offends anyone (which i doubt it will since i get what? like 4 people reading this thing) all i can say is that i'm speaking from personal experience, and obviously i know there are plenty of muslims that do follow all the rules.  Anyways, back to not working.

    2 hours?
     *sigh* nothing's better than a 2 hour drive home through rush hour traffic after an 8 hour work day......grrrrrrrrr, when are we going to make flying cars! Luckly, I had Geno (my ipod) by my side keeping me company. My ears are going to die one day though, and by one day I imagine by the time i'm 30. Oh well, music is funner when turned up really loud, and english is funner when u make up ur own words, like ginormous, but not hugenormous, that words just dumb, like seriously who in the world would use it?

    Good day
     Today's a pretty good day. I'm feel'n pretty good, things are going well with my friends and I, and I hope they stay that way :-D I love spring break, lots of people are home and there is always something fun to do. I almost didn't even have time to tinker with my xbox yesterday! (Groan all you want moose, i'll be streaming in RSS news feeds in no time! Xbox news feeds of course) I think we all should plan something really cool for saturday night. I'm not quite sure exactly what yet. If it's going to be warm maybe we all can go camping again. It's definitly a cheap way to get outa the house and see eachother. Food is cheap, we'll make taco's or sumtin cause taco's are amazing. But yeah, if the 4 of you that read this (or how ever many of u there are) have any ideas on what to do this weekend lemme know.

    Summer =/= fun
     I had a funny realization yesterday. I've been a bit excited recently because this is my last co-oping term and after a full year of schooling (summer, fall, spring) i'll have caught up with everything and finally be able to have my very first summer vacation with out work or school and i'll be able to spend time with all my friends just hanging out everyday and staying up real late just like we used to.....and that's when i realized the flaw in my plan. It would be the summer of my senior year and while I plan on going an extra year to get my masters I imagine most people I know will be spending that summer getting nice and cozy in a different state or different country with a new job and a new apartment and once again it'll just be me and Mr. xbox. *sigh* I don't know if i want real life to start already or end so i can just retire and not hafta do anything. As lazy as i am, and with as little work as i do, i want a break now and then. Like a real break. No i don't want to study a broad and take a vacation, i just want to not work, not school, and just spend a month or two with some awesome people doing awesome things THAT DO NOT INVOLVE DRINKING. Cause that's not that awesome. Movies at peoples houses are good and fun cause it has great conversation, but sometime we need to get out more, do something adventureous. Maybe i should plan something for saturday night but cold makes things hard. Oh well, i'll figure something out. Works almost done, lets hope traffic isn't bad. *crosses fingers hoping to be home in an hour*

    Ok sorry guys 3 entry's in one day but i thought this was funny. After taking a 2 hour lunch break I go into Bob's lab (turns out he is here today) and tell'm I was looking for something to do. He kinda thinks for a lil and is still amazed by how cool this super accurate multimeter is and then goes "hmm well if ur looking for something to do for the afternoon you could just stare at this multimeter's offset, it's beautiful!" Like seriously, Bob is hilarious b/c he IS the 40 year old virgin. That guy i swere one moment u'll think he's a complete robot and the next min he'll be all "Well you know I'm not a color master, so you can color in the power point how ever you want" Or something goofy like that. Or oh god one day he was blabbing on and on about some problems and was like "but the real bugaboo is this RTD in the low temp bath" and i'm like bugaboo? Isn't that a destiny's child song? Go ahead, look it up, it's a reaccuring problem. Oh well, so he eventually said "i haven't eat'n lunch yet but u can put these files in this notebook if u want" and hands me like 4 sheets of paper to put in this notebook I made last semester and then he leaves to take what will most likly be a one hour lunch. I took 5 min to put those papers in the right spots and now i'm bored again. Oh well, only 3.5 more hours lol.

    I don't seem to understand, if someone where to say "I'd rather not talk about it" you'd think the other person would go "are you sure? b/c i care about you and want to make sure your alright" and then the other person would go "Yeah i'll be fine don't worry, thanks for caring, it means a lot to me" and the other one would go "anytime, just gimme a call if u wana talk". Instead of badgering them for an hour trying to get out the info they consistanty said they didn't want to talk about and then making claims they think are true when they aren't and getting both people upset when the original problem isn't a big deal at all. idk, maybe it's just me. Comments?

    Rain? Good?
     Alright so it's kinda rainy today, which in most cases would be pretty bad. Buuuuuuuut, latly i do a hell of a lot of work outside putting up solar panels on the roof of our building to test. Rain = Can't work outside, and when I can't work outside with Luis and Brian, then they say "Go ask Bob and see what he has for you to do", so guess what! Bob isn't here, bwahahahahahahahaha. So, in light of this, I bring you *dun dun na na!!!!* My first LJ survey. hehehehe, hope you enjoy, now to just figure out how to make it a hyper linke or compressed or what ever the term is for what other people usually do.

    lunch, yum?
     IT'S COLD OUTSIDE gah. Hands are freezing. For those of you that don't know i work at NIST (national insitute of standards and technology) and i'm putting up solar panels on the roof. It's cold and windy and gross out and i just wanted to eat my lunch. Soooo.....of course i thought i put my lunch in the fridge but no it's here, been sitting out all morning. So if i'm dead and green by the afternoon it's cause of food poisening. Though come on, potato salad, yogurt, ham sandwitch. Those things don't go bad......right? I defintly need an icon. On forums there avatars, does LJ have any name for them or are they just called icons? hmm, well i'll hafa find one that expresses my individualism and personality......maybe a small child playing xbox or sumtin. oh well, i'll find something eventually. Now onto cnn.com! woot woot for lunch breaks!

    'bout time i started using this thingy
     You know, i think that it might be a good time to start using this thing. I kinda need to learn how it works a lil more, i kinda feel dumb being really bad at this lol. Eventually though i'm sure my page will be freak'n amazing. With xbox logo's and modded ipod images all over and what not :-P But getting back on track, I think a lot has happened in the last few months, ok well, i KNOW a lot has happened in the last few months and I guess it be good if i wrote some of it down on a day to day basis and had some a mazing friends let me know how they felt about it. So maybe i'll make more than one post today, or maybe i'll just leave it like this and kinda fill people in later as to what has been mentally killing me the last few months. Either way i think everything has worked itself out perfectly.

    Although I expected to feel a lot better right now, and last night after everything was said, I still feel a lil weird, which is expected I guess, but just like when stef and I broke up (if u hadn't hurd about that, now u know) I know the decisions made last night were for the best of everyones interest and will work out the best for everyone. So i'm happy with them. And maybe my blahness today is b/c i didn't get much sleep at all, thank you very much kd dooley and stefanie gera! Keeping me up till all hours of the night geez.

    PS. Katie you're just going to have to deal with my bad spelling ok! That goes for you too everyone else! Feel free to comment and yell about mispelled words :-P

    What the heck?
     baawaaaah??? I just got this crazy live journaly dealy. Anyone care to tell me what to do with it? or how to use it? or anything? Eh, ill figure it out eventually.
